I'm always curious what people wear to auditions when a specific type is asked for, so I thought I'd share some of what I chose. For this look, I needed to "think Swiss Miss" and be able to sing, so I braided my hair and wore this very pretty dress Miss Laura Bean recently gave to me. I love the uneven hem (it cinches up on the left side) - and I got a callback for tomorrow! So I guess it was a good look :)
Stay weird, folks!

I got the best fashion compliment ever today when a client at EastWest said I looked like I could be from Japan. I could die happy. Instead, I will dance by this palm tree and tell you about my outfit!
#WEIRDLOOKSWEDS Went out for a serious night of theatre (There Is a Happiness That Morning Is @ Sacred Fools) and then a serious dance party (Funky Sole @ The Echo) and thus needed a seriously rad outfit to transition through the evening. My solution: cats-in-space leggings, a sequined Foley and Corinna frock, and my grandma's costume jewelry.
I'd like to give a special shout out to Amanda for donating the top to my blog at Circle last week! I couldn't wait to wear this garment, thank you! Go see some beautiful theatre: http://www.sacredfools.org/onlineboxoffice/ Hit up LA's best dance party: http://www.theecho.com/event/446441-funky-sole-los-angeles/ ...and let me know what you wear! |
