My best friend (and sometimes stylist) Teresa Calabrese said that I should start a fashion blog to share my unique personal fashion sense, so here goes nothing. Welcome to Weird Looks Weds, my weekly photo essay for 2015.
I'm no model, so I'm gonna go ahead and wear my special glasses in my photos, plus it gives me a good excuse to use the word weird in my blog titles. I don't necessarily think that I dress strangely, but I certainly have had enough people compliment me and say 'only I could pull off that outfit' that I must assume I'm doing something cool. Growing up in a Catholic school uniform, I have a tendency towards odd pairings and over-accessorizing (as Elke would say, I dress like Mr. F from Arrested Development), but at very least my friends can now see that I am putting their hand-me-downs to good use.
Descriptions of the origin of my garments are in the caption above - and if you'd like to send me fun clothes to wear, you can always hit me up in the comments or my contact page ;)
Thanks for your curiosity - and Happy New Year!
